Lara is an Australian born actress...

Lara is an Australian born actress, producer, performance maker, and writer whose creative journey began in a small black-box theatre in Canberra in the late 90's. The ensemble work at Canberra Youth Theatre helped shape the direction of her artistic contribution: she performed and devised shows that developed her passion for physical story-telling and entertainment. She has devised and developed theatre with Earthcrosser Company, Ninefold, ABitOnTheSide, Spandex Productions, and been involved with script developments with Elbow Theatre, and Earthcrosser Company; and was awarded an artistic residency at the Ralph Wilson Theatre where she co-wrote and developed the play, Lane One Form.

It was only later that she fell in love with the art of film-making, and performing in this medium, and since then has worked on numerous short films, features, music videos, corporate videos, and web series. Recently, she has turned her hand to script writing, and is in development on two comedy web series with some other talented women.

She is a co-creator and creative producer of Little Spoon Theatre, which produced several successful productions including Tiger Country; Danny and the Deep Blue Sea; Stitching; and Where's My Money? before taking a hiatus so members could pursue other creative endeavours.

For the moment, Lara's passion lies in the world of film and television, and she is always looking to collaborate on projects with people who love.their.work.
